Online Store Terms
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province/territory of residence, and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by us.

Order Processing/ Shipping Terms
Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed. In most cases, products will arrive 7-10 business days after your order has been processed. Orders may take longer to ship depending on delivery location and size of product. Customers will receive an email notification when their order has shipped. Delivery fees are based on weight of the product(s) and delivery location, as determined by the carrier. Water Depot is not responsible for shipping carrier delays.
Return/ Refund Policy
Products which are being returned fall into several categories; Warranty Claims, Shipping Claims, Fulfillment Error by Water Depot, Order error by the Customer, Customer Changed their Mind.
Warranty Claims
Warranted products will have the warranty information listed in the product’s owner’s manual. In some cases, product warranties could be prorated based on the date of purchase. Warranty claims must be received within 30 days from purchase.
Shipping Claims
Water Depot will assist you in making a claim with the carrier and attempt to recover shipping costs, and replacement or refunding of your purchase for products that fail to arrive or arrive damaged due to negligence of the carrier. Shipping claims must be received within 5 days of receipt of product.
Fulfillment Error by Water Depot
In the event that we do not correctly fulfill your order (incorrect product or incorrect quantity), Water Depot will correct the original order items and cover shipping. The incorrectly shipped product(s) will need to be returned at Water Depot’s cost. Note that product(s) must be returned in unused and unopened condition. We reserve the option to replace or refund when necessary. Fulfillment error claims must be received within 5 days of receipt of product.
Order error by the Customer or Customer Changed their Mind
All items must be returned in unused and unopened condition, in the original packaging. Shipping costs are not refundable. UV Lamps, most electronics, and opened filters and membranes are not returnable. A 15% re-stocking fee applies. Order error claims must be received within 5 days of receipt of product.
To start a return/refund claim, please fill out the Return/Refund Form. Once your claim is approved, we will email you a return shipping label.
Payment Terms
Full payment is required at time of checkout, after which orders will be dispatched. Payment will include cost of product, shipping and billing, and all applicable taxes and fees as required by your province/territory, or state.
Billing Information Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/ phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgement, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transaction and contact you as needed.
Product Information
Water Depot attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Water Depot does not warrant that product descriptions and website content is accurate, free of errors, complete or current. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information. If any product ordered from Water Depot that you receive isn’t described as shown on waterdepot.com, it can be returned – unused or opened – as described in our returns policy.
Liability Limitations
We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
We do not warrant that the results that may be obtained from the use of the service will be accurate or reliable.
You agree that from time to time we may remove the service for indefinite periods of time or cancel the service at any time, without notice to you.
You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the service is at your sole risk. The service and all products and services delivered to you through the service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, merchantable quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non-infringement. Water Depot does not guarantee or promise any specific results from use of or continuous availability of the services. In no case shall Water Depot, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind, including, without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the service or any products procured using the service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the service or any product, including but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted or otherwise made available via the service, even if advised of their possibility.
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any damage or product failures caused by any of the following:
• The equipment or any of its component parts have been subject to misuse, alteration, neglect, accident or incorrect installation.
• The equipment has not been installed in accordance with the applicable local plumbing and/or building code(s) and/or regulations or in their absence.
• The equipment is not installed, operated and maintained in accordance with the printed Manufacturer’s instructions, including if the equipment has any additional aftermarket equipment introduced into the sealed system not approved by the manufacturer.
• The equipment is exposed to highly corrosive conditions.
• The equipment is not continuously supplied with potable water.
• The equipment is not operated within the factory calibrated temperature limits.
• The equipment is removed from its original installation location.
• The equipment is installed in direct sunlight or exposed to freezing temperatures.
• The equipment or any of its component parts fail due to iron or sediment build-up.
• Clogging due to purchaser’s failure to replace or install pre-treatment equipment.
• Damage caused by fire, flood or acts of God.
• Damage caused by over-pressurization in the water line.
Dispute Clause
Any dispute relating to any activity on Water Depot or the purchase of any Water Depot products shall be submitted to confidential arbitration in Ontario, Canada, unless you have in some way threatened or violated Water Depot’s intellectual property rights, whereby Water Depot may seek an injunction.
Trademarks/ Intellectual Property/ Copyrights
The technology underlying, and the entire content included in the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, or code is copyrighted as a collective work under Canadian and other copyright laws, and is the property of Water Depot Inc. and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property or proprietary rights. All rights reserved.
By sharing, submitting and uploading any of your data (including but not limited to reviews, photographs, images, video, or comments) to Water Depot’s website, Water Depot’s social media channels, you grant Water Depot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable license to use, reproduce, prepare derivative works of, display and perform your user data in any legal manner for the benefit of Water Depot. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all the user data that you make available through such means. Accordingly, you represent and warrant that: (1) you have all rights, licenses, consents and releases necessary to grant Water Depot the required rights to disseminate any user data, and (2) neither your nor your posting, uploading, publication, submission or transmittal of this data or Water Depot’s use of your uploaded data on, through or by the means of Water Depot will infringe, misappropriate or violate a third party’s patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights or other intellectual property rights or rights of publicity or privacy or result in the violation of any applicable law or regulation.
